Our Why
Hello, I'm Anne Veloso, founder of Team Calibrate.
At Team Calibrate, we believe that part of building a successful business includes investing time and energy to develop your teams and to shape your culture. Your talent roster can be your differential. Your action can have an incredible positive lasting impact on each person's life.
We also know that leaders, L&D and HR folks and just about everyone at work share the constraints of competing priorities, limited resources and a whole lot of work to be done. We are here to help by offering short yet impactful learning experiences that drive better communication at work and in our personal lives.
I have built a progressive HR career and held senior leadership roles in the Canadian financial services industry. I've felt the pain of those work constraints. I have a demonstrated track record of working internally with leadership teams to build strong employer brand presence and achieve business objectives. This includes being on the Great Place to Work and Best Place to Work lists many times over. What I know is this - when at our best, at the center of it was the continuous development of people.
Retiring from corporate HR life at the end of 2020, I established Calibrate People + Culture, which grew into Team Calibrate. Now, don't get me wrong, I love early retirement and I enjoy travelling and all that it brings with it. Yet, I also love helping individuals and teams drive change from within. That's the S in me! So that's why I offer these learning experiences. I believe in the power of effective communication and how it translates to both the bottom line and a healthy work environment.
